In order to show what Abu Dhabi can offer during the winter season and to encourage people to travel there, Publicis worked with Abu Dhabi Tourism to launch a massive winter campaign - with over 170 campaigns across Meta, Snap, and TikTok in 25 different markets. They were also building new ads each week for Publicis to add into their campaigns on each platform. Publicis recognized that achieving this level of scale would require nimble automation that provides in-flight optimization and agility.
Smartly and Publicis streamlined Abu Dhabi’s campaign workflow, enabling them to launch, change and manage campaigns across platforms and audiences, faster. Using Smartly’s automated Image Templates, they were able to build 173 campaigns with 749 ad sets and a whopping 3357 ads!! And the best part? They didn’t compromise on quality - every ad was personalized and localized to the viewer, driving engagement that was reflected in CTR and traffic.
Once the campaigns were launched, Publicis used Smartly’s highly customizable cross-platform reporting view to track performance of different segments in the campaign.
